When I started blogging less then 3 months ago I was not expecting to meet so many wonderful people that make up this community. Of course I heard stories of people that made friendships with others while blogging but I though the “sparks” most likely happened during a conference or meeting. You can imagine my surprise when Pam from Gingerbread Snowflakes asked for measurements to make my daughter a sun dress.
You can imagine my surprise when the dress arrived two days ago.
I also did not realize that my daughter would make such a bad model.
Unless it is some sort of a running wear or diaper company
I know she has no prior training but I had to chase the little stinker around the house for half an hour to get a decent shot
They were a few moments when she would stop and pause
But most of them involved her falling down, not the most appreciative shot of this beautiful sun dress
Yes she is over tired
She has been refusing to take her afternoon nap for the past 3 days
She has been waking up in the middle of the night for the past week trying to squeeze her way into her parents bed
Even though her Momma has started to say no her Daddy is a sofftie
When she “relocates” to her parents bed she usually takes it over, making sure her Mom does not sleep a wink
Her mommy has developed an eye twitch from lack of sleep
Which means she is too tired and exhausted to drive to any parks, playgrounds or pools
Those trips make this little one tired enough to at least take the afternoon nap.
At least her Mom does get some exercise by chasing her around the house.
God knows she is too tired to continue with any organized type of exercise
At least she had enough energy to day to wash the floor before the photo shoot
Now guess who has to take a break?
To make this beautiful summer dress follow the easy step by step instructions here.
Thank you so much Pam I think it is safe to say that my daughter Loves It.

OMG! I LOVE, LOVE LOVE this post! I felt as if I were right in the room with you, chuckling as she successfully avoided almost every attempt you made to take a picture!
Diane was just this size when I made the first one of these!
Thank you so much for sharing these images in her little dress. It was a pleasure making it for her.
Super cute K! I’ve had many photo sessions like that, LOL.
That is VERY cute! She looks like she’s enjoying the chase!
